Office of Faculty AffairsThe Office of Faculty Affairs is the source for all issues involving faculty life at the University. This office manages the faculty hiring process, the tenure review process, and faculty promotion and retention issues. Faculty salary information is continually maintained and monitored by the office to ensure equity in faculty hiring and ongoing salary issues relative to our comparison market. Faculty are encouraged to use the office to assist in the preparation of their tenure and promotion materials.

We have been working on a system for tracking and reporting on the multiple facets of faculty contributions to the college and community that include activities both within and beyond the classroom. There are two files here that are designed to assist the departments in this effort. The Workload Report Template is an Excel spreadsheet programmed to report on faculty workload over an academic year. There is also a document that describes and defines the trackable activities in Academic Credit Hour Equivalents (ACHE) and Governance Credit Hour Equivalents.
