Continued Probation

1. Why do I have it?

A continued probation hold is placed when your CUMULATIVE GPA is below a 2.0 for the second consecutive semester. You were on probation and your cumulative is still below a 2.0 so you continue to be on it. The next step after continued probation is suspension so we work more closely with you.

2. How do I remove it?

You need to contact the Academic Standards Counselor to determine what steps need to be taken. You may need to complete the Academic Success Probation workshop again. You will also need to complete a In Progress Grade Report during your next semester. You will work closely with the Academic Standards Counselor to return to good standing.

NOTE: If you are on continued probation and the next semester your semester AND cumulative GPA are below a 2.0, you will be suspended from the university.
