Unit 5

Review of Level I and Level 2 Training

Objective: To reinforce Level I and Level 2 training through review and through training junior tutors in basic principles of tutoring.

Activities:

1. With direction from the Tutor Coordinator and with other senior tutors, conduct and present the Review of Level I training meeting for junior tutors. This activity is mandatory for all tutors working on Level 3 certification.

2. As you supervise junior tutors, reinforce the tutoring principles and techniques covered in Level I and Level 2 tutoring.

a. Write a summary of how this requirement is being accomplished; give specific examples.

3. Complete the Unit 5 Worksheet.

4. Submit your training materials to the Tutor Coordinator.
