Changing or Declaring Your Major

Can't decide whether to change your major or not ! Complete our Major Change Checklist (pdf).
Depending on your results, you may want to visit with your major advisor.

If your results indicate a change of major would be a good choice for you, then follow these steps.

Step 1
Decide on your new major. If you are unsure what options are available to you, please see a counselor in LC - 402.  

Step 2:
Call or make an appointment with the Advisor for your major. All change of majors must be approved through the new Advisor. Find Your Advisor (including undeclared majors).

Step 3:
Discuss with the Advisor the classes required for that major. Also find out how the classes you've already taken apply toward the major.

Step 4:
The change should be made within 2-3 days. You can check this through UV LINK by viewing your Academic Transcript or Wolverine Track / Graduation (under Student Records).
