Transferring out of UVU

If you are thinking about transferring from UVU, this information is for YOU!

Students who attend UVU with the intent to transfer to another school have three options:

  • Transfer with an Associate Degree.
  • Transfer without an Associate Degree.
  • Complete a Bachelor Degree and go on to Graduate School.

  • Find out the best area of emphasis for your Associate Degree that will help you work toward a Bachelor Degree at the transfer school.
  • Make sure the school you transfer to accepts the classes required for your chosen Associate Degree, and
  • Send official UVU transcripts to the transfer school when courses are complete.

If you are transferring without an Associate Degree you need to:

  • Know the admission requirements at the transfer school.
  • Make sure the transfer school accepts the classes you take at UVU.
  • Send official UVU transcripts to the transfer school when courses are complete.

If you are continuing on to Graduate School you need to:

  • Know the admission requirements for the graduate program you want to be accepted in.
  • Complete the necessary undergraduate courses required to prepare you for your chosen program.
