Admissions Steps

Master of Business Administration

Baccalaureate degree holders with both business and non-business majors may apply for the two-year program. Applicants must submit all of the following to the Woodbury School of Business:

  • Complete application online
  • Remit a nonrefundable $45 fee by check or money order (payable to UVU).
  • Forward all official college transcripts
  • Respond to the two essay questions that are a part of the application. See how to submit documents electronically.
  • Submit a current resume that includes education background and professional work experience.
  • Provide three (3) letters of recommendation mailed directly from the wirter to the Woodbury School of Business.
  • Send official GMAT test scores. Prospective students must complete the GMAT general test with a minimum score at or above the 40th percentile overall in the verbal and quantitative portions; special consideration will be given to the quantitative score. GMAT registration is available at www.mba.com .
  • Submit TOEFL scores, only for applicants for whom English is a second language and have not earned a degree in the US.

Master of Education

Submit the following required information to the School of Education:

Graduate application (online)

  • Pay nonrefundable $45 application fee by check or money order (payable to UVU)
  • ALL official college transcripts
  • Official Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) scores from Educational Testing Service (ETS)
  • The written response to the final question of the application (your impact on the profession)
  • Three (3) letters of recommendation mailed directly from the reference to the School of Education

You will receive an email when all the required information is received. After the application has been reviewed you will receive a letter with a determination of acceptance into the program.

Master of Science in Nursing

Submit the following required information to the Department of Nursing:

  • Completed application (online)
  • Pay nonrefundable $45 application fee ($100 International) by check or money order (payable to UVU)
  • ALL official college transcripts
  • Official Graduate Record Examinations (GRE)  scores from Educational Testing Service (ETS)

  • Three (3) professional letters of recommendation mailed directly from the
    reference to the Department of Nursing. Click here for letter requirements
  • Copy of Utah RN License (or evidence of eligibility for licensure in Utah)
  • International students must submit minimum TOEFL scores of 560 written, 220 computer-based, or 83iBT.

When all application materials have been received, applicant will be notified via email. Formal notification of acceptance status will be mailed to all applicants.

International Students: The Master of Education and the Master of Business Administration are unable to accept international students at this time, please check back as other programs become available.
