New Student or Transfer Student

Taking the ACT

All UVU applicants under the age of 20 must submit an ACT score. You may complete this step by completing any of the following options:

Option 1: ACT National Test

To take the national test, send in the registration form or apply online at ACT website

Option 2: Take the ACT Residual Test at UVU

The ACT Residual Test is offered at Testing Services , located in the Wolverine Service Center (campus map).

Exceptions

  • Students 20 or older by the first day for the semester they are applying for admission
  • Students that transfer English 1010 Math 1010 or higher
  • International students

 

Taking the SAT Exam

The SAT test will also be accepted to fulfill the college test requirement, so you could take the SAT test if you would prefer it over the ACT. SAT information can be found at:

SAT National Test

To take the SAT National Test you must send in your registration form or apply online at College Board

In addition, the College requires official transcripts of all previous college and high school work or, if applicable, GED or other certification of high school completion.
