Application Information

Welcome back to UVU. Listed below are some items you need to have available to complete the application process:

  • Social Security number - please be certain you enter it correctly, however it will not be used as your student identifier and you will not be asked to give your number at any other time..
  • Drivers License number
  • Current Mailing Address
  • High School Information - years attended, graduation date, etc.
  • College Information - dates of attendance from previous college(s)
  • ACT or SAT scores are required if you have not turned them in prior to leaving UVU. Learn more about ACT/SAT Test Scores.

Getting Readmitted to UVU

Upon submission of the online application, you will receive an electronic response with general information and instructions on how to obtain your UV ID and email account. Within 48 hours your application will be processed and you will receive your acceptance letter at email address provided during the application process. Included in the acceptance email will be an information guide outlining the steps that must be completed before you are eligible for registration. If you choose to submit a paper application, you will receive your acceptance letter by mail within two weeks. The Admissions Office may be reached at 801-863-8466.

It is very important that you choose the correct application. Please read each description below and select the one that meets your status.

  • Readmitted, previously at UVU- You have attended UVU for a previous semester, but it has been more than one year since your last enrollment. Concurrent Enrollment students should only complete this application if you have been graduated from high school for at least one year and have not attended UVU for one year or more.

If you are a naturalized citizen or permanent resident, a paper application and citizenship proof or copy of Resident Alien Card must be submitted. Download the naturalized citizen or permanent resident paper application (pdf) that can be completed and mailed to our office.
