Study data will be discussed on the depression profile of current UVU students. Ideas will be shared regarding recognizing mood disorders and managing acting out behaviors or failing in classroom environments when depressed or anxious.

Presenter's Bio:

Jack L. Jensen Ed. D. is a licensed psychologist and the Director of Psychological Services of Utah Valley University. Dr. Jensen has been in professional practice over 38 years; most of his work has been with college age students at UVU. He also maintains a part time private practice. He has worked with families, couples, and individuals who struggle with a variety of emotional/behavioral problems that are impairing to their success in life.

John F. Catlett Jr. is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Diplomat of the American Psychotherapy Association (DAPA), and Board Certified Professional Counselor (BCPC) with specialty in trauma, loss, and dereavement counseling. John is employed at Utah Valley University's (UVU) office of Student Health Services where he works as a mental health therapist and adjunct faculty in the UVU Psychology department teaching Thanatology.
