History of the School of the Arts
With UVU's move to university status in July of 2008, the School of the Arts was established to accommodate the departments of Art & Visual Communications, Dance, Music, Theatrical Arts, Noorda Theatre and the Woodbury Art Museum.
Our purpose is to identify and assist students who demonstrate the desire, preparation,
and aptitude to engage fully in mastering the knowledge, skills, understandings, and
experiences essential to being imaginative, creative
and innovative.
