The Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Illustration is a four-year degree offered in the AVC Department. There are 3 tracks of emphasis to choose from: traditional, digital and animation. To the right are the requirements. For more information call the appropriate advisor listed below.

Matriculation Requirements
1 Successful completion of ART 1120, ART 1400, ART 1110, ART 1050, ART 1130, ARTH 2710, and ART 2720.
2 Overall GPA of 2.7 and 3.2 for classes taken in the AVC department
3 Portfolio Review.

Graduation Requirements

1 Completion of a minimum of 125 or more semester credits.
2 Overall grade point average of 2.0 (C) or above. To continue in the BFA program, GPA overall 2.7 and AVC 3.2.
3 Residency hours -- a minimum of 30 credit hours through course attendance at UVSC, with at least 10 credit hours earned in the last 45 credits hours completed.
4 Completion of GE and specified departmental requirements.
