Regional Accreditation

Pilots who are interested in advancing their aviation career know how important it is to have an accredited degree. Utah Valley University is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU). NWCCU is part of a consortium of regional accrediting agencies. Regional accreditation is regarded as the highest form of accreditation for employment purposes. The six regional accreditation boards listed are equal in each other's eyes and the eyes of academics for the purpose of transferring credits or degrees from one college to another. www.nwccu.org

Why Accreditation Matters
There are schools that have caught the vision of aviation online learning. However, they are not regionally accredited, and we cannot accept their credits. Employers recognize the value of a regionally accredited degree.
