PROFESSIONAL PILOT

The Aviation Professional Pilot Emphasis prepares students for employment with airlines as well as private and corporate operators. Once students are ready to fly, ramp personnel assist students in removing aircraft from the hangar and refueling. UVU graduates are employed by U.S. and International airlines, cargo carriers, and corporate flight departments.

 

 

Those students seeking advanced degrees will find that both emphases provide the critical thinking and foundational education needed for graduate level education. UVU students have gone on to earn advanced degrees in aviation fields as well as Law, Business and Education.

Students graduating with an AAS or AS in Aviation may transfer to the Bachelor of Science in Aviation Professional Pilot, or Bachelor of Science in Aviation Administration, for completion of a four year degree.
