Airport management internships available in Colorado Springs, apply by May 1

The Colorado Springs Airport is accepting applications for two part-time student interns for 2015-2016.

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado

Hourly rate: $15.00

Details: This program offers 1500 paid internship hours at the Colorado Springs Airport. Interns are assigned to work under the supervision of the Airport Aviation Director’s Office. They are assigned a variety of projects involving airport operations/security, administrative issues, finance and budgeting, planning and construction, property management, and maintenance. Additionally, interns are afforded training opportunities in airfield safety and inspection, emergency response, snow removal and other airport-related disciplines. Interns are also funded to attend one AAAE or industry-sponsored training seminar/symposium, the subject at the discretion of the Airport Aviation Director.Interns are allowed two weeks unpaid vacation during their internship. Interns are not eligible for City benefits including but not limited to: paid sick leave, paid holidays, court leave with pay, military leave with pay, group life insurance, medical insurance, dental insurance, long-term disability insurance, retirement program and employee assistance program.http://careercenter.aaae.org/jobs
