We had a chance to check out what the new UVU Radio Control Model Aircraft Club has been up to since it started just last month. Jarin Sillitoe, who is president of the club, and club members Tylar Dimond and Tyler Kroft were in attendance, along with Advisor Darrell Green. Tylar Dimond brought in his Cessna 182 he has been building for some time. It is nearing completion and Tylar is excited to see it in the air. Tyler Kroft brought in his electric P-51 Mustang to show the group. The group is working together to build a Radio Control Trainer and rebuild of another trainer. The goal is to get the trainers flying up and ready so the club members can begin some actual RC flying. Tyler Kroft is already flying his P-51 Mustang.
The club meets Mondays at 5:30pm in room SA 323 (Sparks Automotive Building). Everyone is welcome and you don’t have to have your own project. Hope to see you there!
