Dr. Mark R. Rosekind, member of the National Transportation Safety Board, will present “Managing Fatigue in Flight Ops: NTSB Investigations and Recommendations” on Wednesday, February 26 at 2:00 pm in Hangar B. The presentation will discuss safety risks associated with fatigue as illustrated through actual NTSB investigations where fatigue has been identified as a probable cause or contributing factor. Basic scientific research will be used to demonstrate how fatigue creates safety risks in flight preparations. Finally, Dr. Rosekind will discuss a diverse range of approaches to more effectively manage fatigue and enhance transportation safety.
