The Project Analyst conducts research for projects using a variety of methodologies (or approaches) and resources. The Project Analyst is also responsible for performing various tasks (or assignments) in support of completing projects: developing and implementing research methodologies (or approaches); compiling, organizing reviewing and analyzing project information, data, and documentation; developing tables, charts, and other graphics for integration into deliverables; participating in project strategy sessions; coordinating project meetings and/or field visits; drafting, reviewing, revising and finalizing (formatting) deliverables; conducting literature searches and preparing literature reviews (providing an overview of findings); researching and understanding (and articulating) the implications of industry trends; providing support to other team members; and assisting with (or performing) office duties.
Minimum Skills and Qualifications: Candidates must have strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and contact management software. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in airport or aviation management (or closely related field) and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills and Qualifications: 1-3 years of airport or aviation business experience (i.e., airport or aviation business administration, operations, management, etc.); Master’s degree in airport or aviation management (or closely related field); Private Pilot’s certificate (or the resources and ability to obtain one); strong analytical and statistical skills; Certified Member Designation from the American Association of Airport Executives.
