Join Us This Spring Term for AVSC 475R Section 3: Aviation Policy

This course is designed to provide you with an understanding of aviation policy and its derivation and application to past, present, and future aviation issues. You will study significant legislation that influenced the development of the aviation industry over time plus current and proposed legislation that will address industry regulation regarding safety, airport development, funding, and international aviation. You will examine the various agencies and organizations such as the Federal Aviation Administration, the Department of Transportation, the National Transportation Safety Board, and the International Civil Aviation Organization. 

Each student will research a topic of his or her choice related to aviation policy and prepare a paper on the subject.
