I am a UVU employee and want to set up a Lost and Found location...
In order to set up a Lost and Found location, you will need to contact Dawn Burgess or John Simpson at x8797 or email email@example.com to schedule pick-up and set-up Lost & Found location procedures. A log with the following items will be required to be maintained in each Lost and Found Drop-Off Location and kept even after Campus Connection pick-up.
- detailed item description
- date item was turned in
- time item was turned in
- location the item was found, if possible
- employee who accepted item
name, date, UV ID Number and/or phone number of owner that came to pick up (must confirm identity) or
- Name, date, and signature Campus Connection employee at time of pick-up of Lost & Found Items (must confirm identity)
It's suggested that the department send a copy of the log with the lost and found pick-up/drop-off and file the original for possible future verification.
