NAC Update

To receive the National Administrators Credential a provider needs to take the:
  • NAC INITIAL CREDENTIAL
For the class schedule contact Johnny Anderson at 801-205-7574 or janderson@hughes.net
You must also take the following Career Ladder Classes.

  1. Child Development Ages and Stages
  2. Learning in the Early Years
  3. A Great Place for Kids
  4. Strong and Smart
  5. Learning to Get Along
  6. Advanced Child Development

The Bureau of Child Development Child Care Licensing Program will accept the online class as part of the center director qualifications. The NAC online DOES NOT qualify for a level 4 on the Career Ladder. The face to face NAC training offered by Johnny Anderson has a higher level of accountability than the online version. That high level of accountability is needed as part of a documented competency. To complete the documented competency there would need to be an observation.

  • NAC RENEWAL CLASSES

The following Career Ladder Classes can be used for NAC RENEWAL:

  1. Child Development Healthy Care
  2. Child Development Ages and Stages
  3. A Great Place for Kids
  4. Working Together
  5. Creating Good Child Care
  6. Family Child Care Course #2
  7. Family Child Care Course #4
  8. Touchpoints®
  9. Theories and Best Practices

REMEMBER TO PLAN ENOUGH TIME TO RENEW YOUR NAC CREDENTIAL.
