A Career Counselor from the Career Development Center is assigned to the School of Education to instruct and assist prospective education graduates in putting together their Self-Managed Credential File. What is a self-managed credential file? A Self-Managed File allows candidates the flexibility to adapt the application to the method requested by each school district and gives candidates complete control over the process. Credential File contains the following items:
- Credential File Cover
- Cover letter
- Resume
- Unofficial Transcript
- 3 Letters of Recommendation
- 2 Teacher Evaluations
- Application
- Other requested items
UV JOB BOARD
UV Job Board is an online system to house all jobs off-campus received in the Career Development Center. School Districts place their teaching positions on UV Job Board. Registered education students access teaching positions and apply. School District Representatives visit UVU in the Fall and Spring each year to interview UVU education graduates. UV Job Board is the only system where education students can sign up for interviews with visiting school district representatives.
