About the Course

Online Coursework
The online coursework is provided through Moodle, an online educational system maintained by Utah Valley University Distance Education. As part of the course, you will complete all of the following, including your final exam at A-1 Driving School, within 60 days of receiving your registration confirmation:

• Complete Quiz 1 part 1 within your first 7 days in the course
• Learn driving principles in 9 Lessons
• View 18 online videos
• Pass 18 quizzes with a score of 90% or above
• Pass the Practice Exam with an 80% or above
• Pass the Final Exam with an 80% or above at an approved A-1 location

Because this course is online, you can move through the lessons at your own pace and finish as fast as you would like, as long as you do not complete more than one lesson per day. If you need more than 60 days to complete the online coursework, you may request an extension for an additional fee.

Driving Practice Within one year from when you register: Complete 6 hours of behind the wheel driving and 6 hours of observing another student drive at an approved A-1 location. The Course Fee is $290 The course fee covers the online coursework as well as the driving practice with A-1. Payment is due in full at time of registration and can be made with electronic check, debit card, or credit card.
