Refunds are gladly given when a class/event is cancelled by UVU Community and Continuing Education (CCE) or when a cancelation request is confirmed by a CCE staff member after following the conditions and restrictions listed below. Registrants who do not attend and who do not cancel their registration will be billed the full amount.
We reserve the right to cancel any course/event for insufficient enrollment or other conflicts that may arise. If your course/event is canceled, an attempt will be made to notify you by phone and you may either select another course/event or receive a full refund.
Please Note
Refund requests for Community Education classes must be made 48 hours prior to the course/event and are subject to a $10 processing fee. Refund requests for conferences or professional development trainings must be made 7 days prior to the course/event and are subject to a $15 processing fee. Refunds may take 3-4 weeks to process.
Special Circumstances
There are no refunds for courses that are delivered via online instruction such as Gatlin, Ed2Go, Life Planning or Command Spanish®. Other refund policies apply to conferences, driver education, educational trips/tours, professional trainings, and other special programs. Information will accompany the special program brochure or flyer when these policies apply.
Substitution Policy
A student may transfer in lieu of requesting a refund prior to the start of the course/event regardless of refund deadlines with the noted exceptions as stated in the Special Circumstances section above.
