About The Course

Online Coursework

You can move through the lessons at your own pace, and finish as fast as you desire. If you need more than 60 days to complete the online coursework, you may request an extension (for an additional fee). You must complete all of the following to successfully complete the course:

• Complete Quiz 1/Part 1 within your first 7 days in the course
• View 18 online videos, complete readings for each lesson, and finish 9 worksheets
• Pass 18 Quizzes with a score of 90% or above
• Pass the Practice Exam with an 80% or above
• Pass the Final Exam with an 80% or above at an approved A-1 location

All online coursework and quizzes must be done prior to taking the final exam. Your final exam must be administered in person within 60 days of receiving a registration confirmation, and must be proctored at an A-1 Driving School location.

Driving Practice
Within one year from registration, students must complete 6 hours of driving behind the wheel and 6 hours of observation through an approved A-1 location.

The Course Fee is $310

The course fee covers the online coursework as well as the driving practice with A-1. Payment is due in full at time of registration and can be made with electronic check, debit card, or credit card.

Coursework Only Option $119

The coursework only option is available to students who only need to take the coursework portion of Driver Education, due to completing their driving and observation hours with a separate program. To fulfill the coursework only option, you must complete all of the online work as well as take the Final Written Exam at an A-1 Driving School location within 60 days from registration.
