Fiber Optics Certification

*NOTE: Anyone can attend this program. However, those wishing to become registered with the FOA as a Certified Fiber Optics Specialist in Testing and Maintenance Certification (CFOS/T) of a Certified Fiber Optic Specialist in Splicing (CFOS/S) must have taken and passed the Basic CFOT Exam prior to registering for the CFOS/T or CFOS/S course with the FOA. If the student is not a registered CFOT, a 100-question exam is available to test out of the basic CFOT course requirement. Contact UVU Workforce Development for details.
