The Work Training Scholarship is just what you need.
This scholarship is available for a limited number of people who are unemployed or underemployed to update their computer and business skills.
Community Education non-credit classes also offer certification courses to help you update your computer skills, understand how to start a business, build and maintain a website, and even become a ski, snowboard, or a certified personal trainer!
This scholarship is funded by private donations, and funds are awarded until funding is exhausted. There are scholarships for $250, for non-credit Community Education classes costing up to $1000; and $500, for online certification non-credit classes costing over $1000. Students are responsible for any costs above the $250 and $500 programs.
