Introduction to Chinese Studies Introduction to Chinese Studies CHST 200G

The course is open for everybody and is taught in English.

Introduces Chinese Language and Culture to interested students and gives them an overview about the minor study program. Includes an introduction to the characteristics of Chinese script by memorizing a few everyday expressions in Chinese. Introduces Chinese history, economy, society, politics, culture and popular culture, and ethics including philosophy, religions, beliefs, film, literature, contemporary discourses.
