This challenge, presented by Brigham Young University, is held every Fall in Provo, UT. The challenge is an educational opportunity for students to apply what they are learning in the course work to a real life application. This was previously called the mock bid.
The Associated Schools of Construction
The Associated Schools of Construction Region 6 and Open Student Competition is held each February in Reno/Sparks Nevada. As you can see on the ASC website, Utah Valley University competes in different problem statements with schools from around the country. This competition is an educational opportunity for students to apply what they are learning in their course work.
The National Association of Homebuilders is a trade association that helps promote the policies that make housing a national priority. Since 1942, NAHB has been serving its members, the housing industry, and the public at large. NAHB's various groups analyze policy issues, work toward improving the housing finance system, and analyze and forecast economic and consumer trends. Each year, UVU students are able to compete in the NAHB Student Competition.
