Nancy Tobler has a Ph.D. (2008) in communication from the University of Utah. She specializes in research on how organizations change, and how technology influences that process of change. In addition, she researches the use of undergraduate mentors and teaching assistants in the university setting.
Nancy has been at UVU since 2009. She received the UVU Faculty Excellence Award in 2013. She also received a teaching award from the National Communication Association. She teaches courses in public speaking, interpersonal communication, research methods, organizational communication and communication education. Most recently, Dr. Tobler was elected to the faculty board for NCA student clubs.
Nancy received her bachelor's and master's degrees from Utah State University. She taught in the communication department for 17 years as a graduate student, adjunct, and instructor.
