Master of Business Administration
- The Woodbury School of Business is pleased to be accepting applications for the Master of Business Administration program at Utah Valley University. The initial course offerings of the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business)-accredited program will be in fall 2010. AACSB International represents the highest standard of achievement for business school.
- A cohort of 42 business professionals will prepare to succeed in the competitive global-business environment by enhancing their analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills. After completing core course requirements, cohorts will choose an area of emphasis: management or accounting.
School of Education, Master of Education
- The Master of Education Degree at UVU is an applied master’s program aimed at building the instructional skills and professional competency of teachers. The goal is to enable participants to become more proficient in selecting optimum research-based curriculum design strategies that best apply to specific teaching situations.
- Participants enter as cohorts and progress through the program in a group. The culminating applied instructional project is unique to each student, but generally course work and many activities are done with fellow students. The learning outcomes are enhanced by having opportunities for students to work together and grow as a result of shared intellectual challenges.
- The Master of Science in Nursing program prepares post-baccalaureate nursing students for advanced practice roles as nurse educators in academic settings and/or clinical nurse educators in healthcare institutions. Content focuses on theoretical foundations of nursing education and leadership; tests and measurements of outcomes; curriculum development, implementation and evaluation; and academic and clinical teaching. Courses provide skills and strategies needed for facilitation of learning in a variety of settings.
