Education
One of the primary goals of the CRFS is to increase understanding and appreciation of the natural landscapes of the Colorado Plateau region. This goal can be realized via nearly every academic discipline. Obvious subjects such as earth science, biology, ecology, astronomy, art, recreation, and literature are just a few of the many possibilities. We encourage programs and activities that engage learners with the unique landscape of the region and provide opportunities that change how we interact with the natural world.
"For in the end we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand, and we will understand only what we have been taught."
Baba Dioum-Central African Conservationist
