Standard II-5. There must be established standards and procedures to ensure that graduates meet the requirements of the program.
F. Meeting the Requirements. Describe your standards and procedures for ensuring that graduates have met all of the requirements of the program.
During the semester in which the student wants to graduate, the student obtains an Application for Graduation form, which must be completed prior to graduation. As part of that process (step 4) the student must obtain the signature of the Departmental Advisor. The Departmental Advisor verifies that the student has completed all of the required computer science courses. The Graduation Office also conducts an audit of the student's work to make sure that no requirements have been missed. Signatures of the Departmental Advisor and a member of the Graduation Office are required to complete the process.
