For admission to the Bachelor Degree Program in Community Health, students must meet the following requirements

1. Students must complete ZOOL 1090 and HLTH 3200 with a minimum C- grade. In addition, students with a Community Health Education or School Health Education emphasis must complete NUTR 1020, HLTH 1200, and HLTH 2400 with a minimum C grade. Students with a School Health Education emphasis must meet the requirements for admission into the Secondary Education Program at UVU. Students with a Health Services Administration emphasis must complete MGMT 2200 and MGMT 2240 with a minimum C grade.
2. Students must currently have and maintain a 2.5 GPA. If the GPA drops below 2.5 once admitted into the program, the student will immediately be placed on a one semester probation with the stipulation of receiving a 2.5 GPA. If a 2.5 GPA is not met after one semester, the student will be dropped from the program and invited to reapply once the minimum GPA is met.
3. Baccalaureate Community Health students must obtain departmental advisor's signature on an approved program plan prior to enrollment in their semester of study.
