UVU Science Essay Contest
The Utah Center for Science Education and the Utah Valley University College of Science & Health Advisory Board have organized a science essay contest for well-motivated high school juniors and seniors in the UVU service area, as described in the official rules linked here. There will be prizes of $500, $300, and $100 or half-tuition scholarships to UVU for an academic year. In addition, the sponsoring teacher of a prize winner will receive an award of half the amount of the student’s cash prize.

Entries must be submitted by the sponsoring teacher to reach the UVU College of Science & Health by January 15, 2014. The topic of this year’s essay is “Water Issues in Utah.”
