RN to BSN Program
RN Advanced Entry -- This Information is for applicants already licensed as Registered Nurses
Responsibility for satisfying all requirements rests upon the student. Students must meet both the general education and the specific requirements of the Department of Nursing to qualify for graduation. Grades below a “C” will not satisfy degree requirements. The BS program requires a minimum of 120 credit hours, with a minimum of 30 of those credits being completed at UVU and a minimum of 40 credits completed in upper division courses. All requirements are subject to change without written notice or obligation.
PREREQUISITES: If not completed with Associate RN program, the following courses must be complete with a “C” grade minimum BEFORE being eligible to apply as an Advanced Entry student (*used in calculating “nursing prerequisite GPA”):

| • ENGL 1010 Intro to Writing * | • PSY 1100 Human Development Life Span * |
| • ENGL 2020 Intermediate Writing | • MICR 2060 Microbiology for Health Professions w/ lab * |
ASSOCIATE RN CORE CREDITS: AS nursing core from State-approved nursing programs only, will satisfy NURS 2320, NURS 2400, NURS 2410, NURS 2420, NURS 2430, NURS 3300, NURS 3310,NURS 3320 and NURS 3330. (All nursing core will be included in “nursing prerequisite GPA”)
