NOTICE TO FUTURE APPLICANTS!!

Significant changes in eligibility requirements have been proposed to become effective for the Fall 2010 application period.

It has been proposed that the grade requirement for BIOL 1010 General Biology, CHEM 1110 Elementary Chemistry for Health Sciences, ENGL 1010 Intro to Writing, ENGL 2020 Intermediate Writing (or 2010), MATH 1050 College Algebra, NUTR 1020 foundations of Human Nutrition, MICR 2060 Microbiology for Health Professions, ZOOL 2320 Human Anatomy, ZOOL 2420 Human Physiology, PSY 1100 Human Development Life Span and NURS 1400 Intro to Nursing be raised to a B- minimum, replacing the current C grade requirement. In addition, these courses may only be taken twice in a 5-year time period. This change will apply to all students applying to any UVU nursing program and is anticipated to become effective for the Fall 2010 application period, which will open the first Monday in March 2010. We suggest you check this website frequently for upcoming changes and/or revisions to our nursing program.
