PREMED SHADOWING PROGRAM

UVU has arranged a shadowing program with Central Utah Clinic. The Clinic assists students accepted into the program to set up shadowing opportunities with physicians. Central Utah Clinic physicians practice in a variety of specialties and locations. Students will receive 9-12 hours of shadowing with 1-2 different physicians. Listed below are the program requirements. If you are interested, print the application from the link below and submit it and immunization records to Jennifer Orchard in PS 202d. Contact Jennifer Orchard with any questions. There are limited spaces available so apply early.

Program Requirements

• Completion of at least 60 semester hours
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Completion of BIOL 1610/1615 and CHEM 1210/1215 with a grade of C or better
• Immunizations: 2 MMR, 2 Varicella or proof of immunity, 2 TB Tests within the last year, 3 Hepatitis A/B
