HOW DO I GET MY HOLD CLEARED?

All new or readmitted students have an academic hold placed on their record that prevents them from registering for classes.  This hold can only be cleared by an academic advisor after completing steps 1-3 on Getting Started at UVU. Your academic advisor will be your major advisor if you have already chosen a major* or general advising if you have not.  Your major advisor will advise on completing your degree at UVU.

The Pre-Health Professions Advisor is a secondary advisor, not a major advisor, and does not advise on any specific majors or clear academic holds.  She will help you know which prerequisite classes you should take and what extracurricular activities you need based on your chosen career field.
