The following events are listed on our Calendar of Events, including instructions on how to register/sign up if necessary:
RECRUITING FAIRS
This is your opportunity to network with our quality students representing a variety of majors and a diversity in breadth and depth of experience. UVU is known for our fairly large population of students with many years of substantial work experience in their field. We also promote "engaged learning," which provides many practical, real-world experiences for our students long before they graduate. We are striving to help you get to know our students and find the quality match that you are seeking. Let us know how we can help you to achieve this goal. The following fairs are currently available:
- Internship & Career Fairs (Fall and Spring)
- Graduate School Fairs (Fall)
- Customized Fairs (as needed)
- Recruiting Days (every month)
INFORMATION SESSIONS
How would you like to spend an hour with the specific students you are targeting? Information Sessions are an excellent way to come on campus and let the students know about your company and the related industry, should you choose. There is usually an opportunity to ask questions, visit and enjoy something to eat. Often salaries, benefits and other employment information is discussed. This is a great way to help you find the precise students you would like to interview. You may decide to follow your Information Sessions with an on-campus interview. If that is the case, either a sign-up sheet is provided for open interviews or specific students are offered an interview during these sessions.
ON-CAMPUS INTERVIEWS WITH QUALITY EMPLOYERS
As an employer, you can utilize our services to conduct several interviews on campus in a day's time. We provide the rooms, can help you to get the word out to the students and can even help with sign ups through the UV Job Board.
WORKSHOPS
Career Services & Student Employment provides additional workshops to assist our students in meeting their career development needs. We welcome your participation in these events.
