RECRUITING FAIRS
This is your opportunity to network with recruiters representing a variety of organizations and jobs. Ask the recruiters questions, get to know them and let them get to know you. Many of our students have succeeded in getting the job they wanted because they built these relationships early and returned often. Remember to dress for success. We offer the following fairs:
- Internship & Career Fairs (Fall and Spring)
- Graduate School Fairs (Fall)
- Customized Fairs (as needed)
- Recruiting Days (every month)
INFORMATION SESSIONS
Excellent employers are looking at UVU students to recruit. They come to campus and spend around an hour telling you about their company and the related industry. There is usually an opportunity to ask questions, visit and enjoy something to eat. Often salaries, benefits and other employment information is disussed. This is a great way to get to know the market. Students are often offered an interview during these sessions.
ON-CAMPUS INTERVIEWS WITH QUALITY EMPLOYERS
Interview for the job you want without ever leaving the campus. Check the "Calendar of Events" on the CSSE website to see which employers are interviewing. You can usually sign up for an interview on the UV Job Board.
WORKSHOPS
Career Services & Student Employment provides additional workshops to assist our students in meeting their career development needs. We welcome your participation in these events.
