The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) in the U.S. Department of Labor collects current information on every aspect of the national labor market. The Occupational Outlook Handbook contains useful data on occupations and current prospects for employment. Also, a link is provided to current labor market information in Utah, which is gathered and disseminated by the Utah Department of Workforce Services (DWS).

The BLS also collects and disseminates information on current wages and salaries in the U.S. DWS provides the same type of data for Utah.

The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) offers invaluable information for colleges and employers.They also offer asurvey of salary offers to graduates four times a year and distribute this data to members. The latest information on salary offers by major is not found on-line but is available in our office.

The Economic Research Institute offers geographic-specific salary and cost-of-living information.
