UVSC Delta Epsilon Chi (DEX) students participated in the State Career Development Conference February 5-7 held at Dixie State College. Students from DEX Chapters throughout the state of Utah participated in marketing- and hospitality-related events.

Honors were received by the following people:

• First Place Design—Jason Wright
• Second Place Business to Business—Jackie Fuller & Bailey Schofield
  Sports & Entertainment Marketing—Jenny Wright & Lauren Horito
• Third Place Restaurant & Food Service—Jackie Fuller
  Fashion Merchandising & Marketing—Lauren Horito
• Fourth Place Business Ethics—Chad Barraclough & Spencer Behrend
  Design—Danielle Moyes
• Finalists Financial Services—Spencer Behrend
  Financial Services—Matt Castro

Every student who attended qualified for national competition. Students will now compete at the International Career Development Conference in April in Anaheim.
