Aviation Science

The UVU Aviation Science Degree Program, with over 1,500 students enrolled, is the third largest aviation program in the United States and has received national awards from the University Continuing Education Association for innovative quality curriculum and student support. Courses are available year round, making our program the perfect choice for students.

Utah Valley University is a regionally accredited institution offering courses in aviation administration, FBO management, airport management, and airline management, among many others. Earn your Bachelor of Science in Aviation with an Aviation Administration emphasis through our online courses.

Those students pursuing a career as a commercial pilot may be interested in the Professional Pilot degree emphasis. Students can earn credit for flight training, may apply for financial aid, and have the option of training at many quality flight schools throughout the nation.

Professional Pilot flight training is also offered through our facilities at the Provo Airport. We are equipped to successfully prepare students for modern flight, with glass cockpit technology and the newest fleet in collegiate aviation. There are 28 aircraft and four flight training simulation devices, including the newest and safest multi-engine aircraft in the world, the Diamond DA-42 Twin Star.
