Women in STEM Ambassadors is a Utah Valley University outreach, dedicated to inspiring
teens about the potential of exciting majors at UVU.
Mica Marcal is a Film Major at Utah Valley University. She loves video editing, and hopes to
become a film producer. She says, Don't let anyone tell you you can't have your dreams!
Tera Prestwich is passionate about student success. She is the Administrative Assistant
at the Women's Success Center and also the Adviser for the Women of UVU. Tera is
dedicated to helping you succeed. Tera has expertise in maximizing your financial
aid and teaches a weekly class on Friday at 3:00 in CS 504 that covers UVLink, Wolverine
track and Canvas.

of Science, Tech, Engineering and Math, and how it can improve communities and families!
WISTEM expands your view of opportunities to further your education and career in
STEM fields. WISTEM creates an academic mentorship that extends from junior high through
college, which provides tools, resources, and options that will make a better world!
