CLASSES
The UVU Ballroom Dance Program offers course work in three main styles: International Latin, International Standard, and Social Dance (combining American Smooth and American Rhythm). Skill levels are divided into begining (Bronze), intermediate (Silver), advanced (Gold), and competitive (Gold Bar). Other courses such as Teaching Methods in each style, Ballroom Dance Choreography, and Studies in Ballroom Dance Styles are also offered.
THE BALLROOM DANCE COMPANY
The Ballroom Dance Program also offers performance opportunities through the Ballroom Dance Company. The company consists of four teams: the Tour Team, which performs and competes locally, nationally, and internationally; the Gold Team, Silver Team, and Bronze Team, which perform locally.
