Don't Miss "Glimpse"  

Synergy Dance Company seeks to share dance as an art form with the campus community and the community at large by presenting innovative performances of guest artist, faculty, and student choreography. The company members are dynamic performers as well as imaginative choreographers who present dance a wonderfully diverse and lively performance art. The company also travels to local schools to present entertaining and informative lecture-demonstrations that support Utah's Dance Core Curriculum.

UVU’s Synergy Dance Company was created in 1993 by Kathie Debenham to give dance students interested in choreography and performance an opportunity to do what they love. Dance company members audition yearly and perform in fully produced concerts at the Ragan Theater as well as at numerous invited events and venues. The company has performed works by nationally recognized choreographers Monica Campbell, Daniel Charon, John Corsa, Heidi Henderson, Keith Johnson, Juan Carlos Claudio, Natasha Washington, Nick Cendese, Bill Evans, John Allen, Peggy Hackney, Kim Strunk, Doris Trujillo, Kate Monson, Nicole Ortega, Kathie Debenham, Angie Banchero-Kelleher, and Amy Markgraf Jacobson. The company participates yearly in the American College Dance Festival. Synergy Dance Company has traveled to Scotland and England to share dance and participate in dance.
