What is Matriculation?
UVU Dance Majors will apply and audition to become an official dance major after taking the assigned
coursework for the genre of their choosing after their first year of study. Students may apply/audition if currently
enrolled in required courses during the semester of their audition.
It is important that students visit with Laura McCullough their academic advisor as well as their
program coordinator to navigate their course work in a timely manner.

Matriculation workshops will be offered in preparation for the application process.

Monday- Feb. 27 - 9:30am Monica's DANC 144R and Angie's DANC 243
Tuesday- Feb. 28 - 9:30am Jacquelyn's DANC 144R
Monday - Mar. 5 - 3:00pm PE 152 and 5:00pm -Ai's DANC 143R
Matriculation Portfolios and Appeals are due March 9, 2012 by 5:00 p.m.
