|title:||Coordinator, Scholarships and Stewardships|
Kathryn Johnson is a program coordinator for donor relations and stewardship with over 10 years of work experience in the nonprofit and mortgage banking industries. She graduated from Utah State University in business and considers herself a true blue Aggie! Later, she received her master’s degree from BYU’s Marriott School of Management in public administration and began a career in nonprofits.
In 2009 Kathryn joined UVU’s Department of Labor Community Based Job Training grant in workforce development. She considered it a pleasure to work with grant participants, helping them build the job skills they needed to return to the workforce and witnessed many successful outcomes as a result of the training. She was formerly with the American Red Cross as a grant writer, fundraiser, and special events planner, and she received the Presidential Silver Award for volunteer work.
A life-long cyclist, Kathryn and her husband enjoy group rides throughout the intermountain west. Other interests include traveling, landscaping, and spending time with her family—especially the grandkids.
