Biography - Director of Development Services
Bart Jacobs began his education at Utah Technical College in 1984, earning a bachelor’s degree in business management. He then went on to Utah State University for an M.B.A. with an emphasis in accounting.
Starting in 1986 Bart worked as the revenue accountant in UVU’s Business Office for seven years, then spent another seven years as the lead student information systems programmer in Computer Services. He then moved to Institutional Research as the associate director for two years before transferring to Institutional Advancement in 2001. Bart is currently the director of development services for UVU Development and Alumni Relations.
Bart has been involved with student organizations at UVU, coaching both the ski and intramural golf teams and serving as an advisor for the bicycle and ski clubs. He is also involved with the UVU Auto Expo committee and has a private pilot license from UVU’s Aviation Science Department.
