Biography - Technology & Computing and Science & Health

Victoria joins Utah Valley University with over 10 years of experience in non-profit development. She has raised funds for health-related programs and research for Intermountain Health Care in Salt Lake City; the University of San Diego, California; and Scripps Health in San Diego.

Victoria has chaired or been a member of many fundraising advisory boards, including chapters of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy, Association of Fundraising Professionals, American Heart Association, Walk for Lupus Now, Volunteer San Diego, University of California, San Diego Marketing Council, and the Utah County Children's Justice Center.

A California native, Victoria first came to Utah County to pursue a degree in sociology from Brigham Young University. She went on to obtain the following degrees and certificates in fundraising and development:

•  Business administration with an emphasis in marketing, California State University, San Marcos
•  Corporate and special event fundraising, George Washington University in conjunction with the University of San Diego
•  Development and fundraising, University of California, San Diego
•  Philanthropic studies, New York University

Victoria is currently testing to become a certified fundraising executive. She volunteers with many organizations in the community and is currently a court appointed special advocate with the Utah State Courts Office of Guardian Ad Litem.
